Founded in 2018, Old Glory DC is growing the game of rugby around the nation’s capital and making its presence known around the league. The franchise boasts back-to-back playoff appearances, and Old Glory won its first playoff game in 2023. The postseason appearances come off the heels of recent successful regular season finishes of more than 40 table points.

Old Glory DC hosts its home matches at the 5,000-seat Maryland SoccerPlex, a nearby facility in Germantown, Md. The team has called several venues home, including Cardinal Stadium, where in 2020 the team captured its first win in MLR play against the Seattle Seawolves, the league’s defending champions.
