Founded in 2023, the Miami Sharks joined MLR competition in 2024 as one of three teams to begin play in the league’s seventh season. Boasting its Latin roots, the team holds Argentine ownership and unique style of play, while the team’s colors pay homage to the unique Miami vibes. The team recorded six wins in its first season, nearly securing a playoff berth in the process.

Miami hosts its home matches at AutoNation Sports Field, a 5,000-seat stadium in nearby Ft. Lauderdale. The venue was home to the franchise’s first victory – a 50-21 victory over Anthem RC – and its reputation continues to grow as one of the premiere atmospheres in the league.
